Halloween candy so gourmet, you’ll want to save it for the grownups! One of our favorite things to do in our kitchen is to mix classic fall flavors with chocolate. We start with the bounty of the season - locally-grown pumpkins, fresh apples, bog cranberries - and blend them with traditional New England sweeteners like maple syrup and boiled cider. A dash wood-smoked Maine sea salt and a pinch or two of cozy spices, and you are transported into the crisp fall air of a sun-dappled orchard in Maine.
